Green Plums, Dye-Ditch Water and the Trash Pile Road
Edited by Lathan Hudson, Janet Moreland, and Sheryl Paige, this book is a collection of treasured poems, prose, and short stories written by residents of Sylacauga, Alabama's Mill Village and a few honorary Mill Villagers.
Nostalgia reigns supreme as good times are remembered through short stories, poetry, essays, and photos—times when life was not so hectic; when the days were long and the sun shone brighter; the nights were short, but sometimes not short enough; and a new adventure was waiting in the fun places friends would meet with friends and share their young lives.
We'd like to give you a sneak preview of some of the poems and short stories in Green Plums... and to give our authors a chance to stand up and take a bow. Click on the "Samples" sign at the left to sample the literary works of some of your MVBs.
